To successfully identify the anatomical structures of the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) and surrounding areas utilizing fluoroscopy
To review the steps of pre-procedure planning, including patient assessment, imaging techniques, and target site selection for dorsal root ganglion stimulation
To demonstrate proper surgical technique when accessing the DRG, including practicing needle placement, electrode positioning, and anchoring techniques using cadaver specimens
To identify common complications associated with DRG stimulation and their management strategies, including developing skills for troubleshooting device-related implantation issues (e.g. relief loop strain creation, dorsal placement of lead, etc.)
To illustrate various clinical scenarios while performing DRG stimulator implantation, reinforcing concepts of best practices, challenges, and lessons from real-world applications
